“Finding Gratitude During Disaster”

“Finding Gratitude During Disaster”

A series of floods hit Australia, beginning in December 2010, primarily in the state of Queensland including its capital city, Brisbane. The floods forced the evacuation of thousands of people from towns and cities. At least 70 towns and over 200,000 people were affected. Damage initially was estimated at around a $1 billion. The estimate of lost revenue from Australia’s GDP is about A$30 billion.

Three-quarters of the state of Queensland was declared a disaster zone. The 2010–2011 floods killed at least 31.  As of 14 January, an additional 40 are missing in or around Grantham. The Queensland floods were followed by the 2011 Victorian floods, which saw more than 50 communities in western and central Victoria also grapple with significant flooding.

“I am Denna from Brisbane, Australia. I haven’t been able to get an on Community Call… to share my gratitude (been a bit busy with Brisbane Flood Aftermath) so please allow me the chance to do it this way!

I have a 2-year-old boy & a 16-month-old girl and only recently joined the wonderful community of LPU in Oct 2010.  At the moment I consider myself a Full-time Mum, and Part-time Entrepreneur!

Since my husband just lost his bed business in the Brisbane Flood recently I will need to step up and help us get through this testing time. As a survivor of the Brisbane, QLD Floods (home and Husband’s Business) I wish to sincerely hug all you at LPU”

  • I AM GRATEFUL FOR MY HUSBAND & MY KIDS… YOU GIVE ME THE STRENGTH TO FIGHT AND NOT FLIGHT!
  • I AM GRATEFUL FOR MY MUM WHO WAS WITH ME AND KEPT ME CALM WHEN I LEARNED MY FAMILY WERE IN BRISBANE AND WERE IN DANGER, WHEN I WAS NOT!
  • I AM GRATEFUL FOR MY FATHER, WHO HAD SWAPPED ROLES WITH ME FOR A WEEK PRIOR TO THE FLOODS, TO LOOK AFTER MY CHILDREN, WHEN I COULD NOT!
  • I AM GRATEFUL FOR VIRGIN BLUE AIRLINES, WHO GOT ME BACK TO BRISBANE FROM ADELAIDE BEFORE PEAK TIDE, SO I COULD BE WITH MY FAMILY.
  • I AM GRATEFUL NO ONE I KNOW WAS HURT, OR LOST THEIR LIFE IN THE FLOOD.
  • I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE STRANGERS WHO HAVE HELPED MY HUSBAND, AS WE LOST HIS BUSINESS, WHICH WAS A BED BUSINESS IN THE SUBURB OF WEST END.
  • I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT OUR HOUSE IN NEW FARM HAD DAMAGE, BUT NOTHING COMPARED TO MANY OTHERS IN THE STATE.
  • I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT THE FLOOD LITERALLY CAME CMS FROM ENTERING THE INSIDE OF THE HOUSE.
  • I AM GRATEFUL FOR STARTING A PORTABLE BUSINESS – AND LOOK FORWARD TO MAKING MONEY… IT’S EARLY DAYS YET… BUT I HAVE THE END IN MIND.
  • I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT THE LPU COMMUNITY IS MATCHING DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR DONATED… AND SO MANY WANT TO GIVE US QUEENSLANDERS… I AM PROUD TO BE APART OF SUCH A COMMUNITY, AND I WILL KEEP YOU ALL UPDATED WITH HOW WE, AS A CITY REBUILD.

The rains have stopped and the flood survivors have begun piecing their lives back together.  Myself and the LifePath Community continues to donate to the QLD Flood Relief.  We now flirt with $5000 donated!  As donations continue to come in, we will increase our efforts to help people rebuild their dreams.

Thank you to all that have contributed so far.

2010 ~ A Remarkable Year!

The essence of 2010 still lingers. 2010 brought so much into the LifePath Unlimited Community; with groundbreaking changes we have been more blessed than ever with more prosperity and abundance for so many families, this has enriched so many lives.

The year began in January with an International Training Event in Las Vegas. The Event was “Synergy”, a perfect mix of people and harmony. Synergy as it is, was designed to be a hands on training event, where new members and old members can come together with a team spirit to help business soar with the tools, details and knowledge needed to create and maintain the “What it takes” to be successful in the individuals new business. Following Vegas was Sydney, Australia in February then Scottsdale Arizona in August.

Vegas, Sydney and Scottsdale, they all welcomed us with fabulous meals, extraordinary training, magical nights, dreams of financial freedom and an ambitious start from the beginning of new members businesses. The energy is always robust as members from 5 contents come together with enthusiasm to prepare there mission for success with a business, a goal and the support from others with a common dream of putting there financial freedom in there own hands, to provide a more abundant life for there families, and to have the lives that are dreamed possible.

The LifePath Unlimited Event “BreakThrough” was created to allow LifePath members the ability to now put into action all that they had learned through the series of “Discovery”. Through Discovery, we have learned of our inner strengths and abilities, and through BreakThrough we now can put into action all that we KNOW we can do and accomplish, here we break through fears, as we truly are amazing.

BreakThrough VI brought us all together in beautiful, exotic Fiji. Here we brought in the culture of the area and all of it’s customs, while we broke arrows, bent rebar, partook in Tribal Kava Ceremonies and FireWalked to our own personal greatness.

At this BreakThrough Event those that arrived early, were invited to be present to witness the marriage of myself to Joy Elizabeth in a traditional Fijian wedding ceremony also contained into it the customs of the land, involving a ring of fire, Kava and walking down an aisle of fire were we would greet our guests on the other side.

BreakThrough VII, found us in the Puerto Rican Rain Forest, along it’s majestic coastline. Here we were met with an abundance of green Iguana’s that would remind us of the dreams and the magic that can be ours. Here we would discover that there is no word “fear”, as we along with Peggy Dylan and Fredrick Lehrman would guide us into a place in our lives that we for certain know without doubt of our strength to overcome all and any obstacles that stand in our way of our dreams and our goals.

The LifePath Unlimited Community was so excited this past year to donate money needed for school supplies, shoes and anything needed to help assist in a more abundant life, to several schools around the world.

June was exciting as the LifePath leaders from around the world came together for a private meeting at my home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Here was the location for the filming of the new LifePath Unlimited landing page.

As always, staying ahead of the curb, the August Synergy Event in Scottsdale brought the introduction of the new Internet sales funnel that had never been done before! Yes, the very first of it’s kind on the Internet! LifePath Unlimited now has one of the top companies in the world offering LifePath Unlimited specific leads to our members. More solidified acknowledgement that LifePath strives for it’s members to have the best in the industry.

LifePath was also pleased to announce that we became a sponsor to the Rick Bratton Radio Show. Here the LifePath Community’s opportunity and LPU Voice could be heard to millions around the nation.

2011 is now here and in full force, tonight Myself & Dave Mackenzie will bring in this new year with some of the amazing things that are in store all of the LifePath Community.

Join me back here in a few days to read about our incredible year, which we now are at the gate of.

Contemplating 2010

I welcome 2011 and all of the incredible groundbreaking events and technologies that will be coming this year.

2010 brought incredible change to my life, bringing such enchantment, bliss and integral enhancement.  I am blessed.  I got married at The LifePath Unlimited Event “BreakThrough” which was held in beautiful Fiji.  Absolutely perfect, is the only way to explain this day!  Peggy Dillion, is the amazing woman, that brought FireWalking into the west, preformed the wedding ceremony by facilitated a Ceremonial Wedding FireWalk for all that attended.  The wedding nuptials ended with a traditional Fijian Kava Ceremonial.

During the BreakThrough Event in Fiji, with the help of LifePath Associates and their contributions, we were able to raise moneys for a school in Fiji that needed learning materials. We made it possible during another BreakThrough Event in Puerto Rico to give the students of The Evangelical School For The Deaf, to receive some personal items along with a check for some needed learning material.

Our international events did not stop there, we had events in Las Vegas, Australia and here in sunny Arizona that included Associates and Members from 5 different counties.

2011 will bring many more amazing changes and Events which I will continue to blog.  I look forward to your next visit!
